Super Food opened its doors for the first time on February 28, 2003 at L.G. Smith Boulevard 156. Nestled between three other large supermarkets, many thought it would not stand a chance. However, this supermarket was started by a group of highly motivated colleagues, who had years of experience working in Aruba and who had a passion for the job. This passion, combined with the strongest desire to please our customers, was the start of our success.

Throughout the years, Super Food kept growing until it became the most popular supermarket on the island. The need for a larger building arose, where our customers could shop more comfortably and find everything they need, all the time.

With the opening of Super Food Plaza in November 2012 at Bubali 141-A, Super Food would no longer be just a supermarket, but offer a complete shopping experience with the addition of Bliss beauty and health, Cheers wines and liquors, Jack's Cafe Aruba, Casa housewares, Intertoys and Food Factory Aruba.

Today, Super Food is the most complete supermarket for your daily shopping needs. The product assortment is very wide, with daily fresh products, such as store-baked bread and pastry, fruits and vegetables and delicious meat from our butcher’s shop, including Certified Angus Beef. There is a deli and cheese island offering international delicacies, a tapas bar and a salad bar. We carry all popular Dutch and American A-brands along with our own Jumbo store brand, which stands for high quality and low price. In addition to our regular product offerings, we also carry organic, diet, vegetarian, diabetic and gluten-free products.

At Super Food, you will find the freshest fruits and vegetables every day. We import delicious fruits and vegetables from all over the world, so you will always find what you’re looking for, regardless of the season. When available, we also offer locally grown produce. If you don’t recognize a particular fruit or vegetable, please don’t hesitate to ask an employee for assistance.

Visit our salad bar, where you may create a salad according to your own taste, or find a fresh ready-made salad in the cooler. Right next to the salad bar, you will find the orange juice squeezer, where you can bottle your own fresh orange juice to complement your meal.

Super Food is the only supermarket in Aruba to offer freshly cut vegetables and vegetable mixes in convenient packages to simplify your cooking experience at home. We clean, cut and pack these vegetables every day to guarantee their freshness. By choosing these freshly cut vegetables, you will save on your grocery bill, but also reduce the quantity of vegetables in your refrigerator that go to waste.

Our meat department is the best on the island. We offer the best cuts of meat and everything is guaranteed fresh. You will find American steaks, South American beef, Dutch specialties, homemade hamburgers, meat loafs, kebabs and much more. Super Food is also an official retailer of Certified Angus Beef, the best beef in the industry.

We offer ready-to-eat rotisserie chicken and ribs every day.

At the tapas bar you will find a fine selection of French dry sausages, olives, tapenades and our home-made salads. The quality and taste of our products are top-notch. Make sure to try our homemade lite tuna salad, mango chicken salad and pickled red onion!

Super Food’s artisan bakery is like no other in Aruba. Our bakers work day and night to make sure you get the freshest and most delicious bread, according to Dutch recipe, without additives. We offer all kinds of bread from white to whole wheat, baguettes, croissants and delicious rolls. You will also find low-salt, low-calorie and other specialty bread.
